Job Description
The Coating Engineering Process Engineer is responsible for one or more specific coating process developing projects which includes:
Liaise with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs and labour required
Transfer new coating process to production and provide technical support
To evaluate new process for customer sample and work with salesperson to get feedback from customer and follow up with the process
Responsible for process monitoring and collecting control parameters as well as data measurement & report documentation
Diagnose problems in the production line and provide solutions
Identify customer¡¯s needs and sales opportunities to help with business growth
Clearly communicate activities and provide process/status report to management
Responsible for other coating engineering related duties assigned by supervisor

Assistance Engineer
The Assistant Engineer, Coating Engineering supports our coating engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and documentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise manufacturing process, ensure quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner
Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions that improve production, costs, and labor required
Transfer new coating process to production and act as a technical support for production
Partner with sales team to gather feedback of sample submitted from customer and follow up accordingly
Responsible for process monitoring and collecting control parameters as well as data measurement & report documentation
Perform sample surface inspection by using microscope as needed
Identify and diagnose issues in production line and provide recommendations and training as needed.
Identify customers¡¯ needs and sales opportunities
Process and status reporting to management
Generate weekly report
Organize respective weekly meetings with production team and coating engineering team on active project listing and continuous improvement actions
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required

This job is responsible for the set-up, monitoring and basic maintenance of PVD coating machines. Position largely entails loading and unloading of machines, basic preventative maintenance, and inputting of parameters into a Windows-based PLC.

polish all types of Injection Molds, tools and dies and perform machining operations on tool room machines, using all necessary machine attachments to make replacement parts, tools, and dies
plan work to be performed and determine methods and sequence of operations working from tool design drawings or our own designs to establish the best method to deliver high quality, high precisions tools
advanced polishing techniques, ability to bring surfaces to mirror finishes
operates various types of polishing equipment (Profilers, sonic polishers, stones) to complete assignment as required
select polishing tools, holding fixtures, stones and compounds, for all kinds of metals and pieces to be worked
assists in the estimating, planning, and timely completion of assigned work

Job Description
Conduct checks on the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products, as well as the production procedures for coating consistency, uniform appearance, proper color, adhesion and coating thickness in final inspection.
This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analysing products, and overseeing procedures for any defects, surface impurities, prior surface treatments, burrs, or grinding damage that could compromise the adhesion of the coating or cause poor performance in the field.

follow basic lab safety guidelines and regulations take direction from supervisor and complete assignments in a timely manner
prepare samples using laboratory dispersion and blending equipment
conduct standard tests following Standard Test Procedures including, but not limited to, calo test, Microhardness test, Scratch adhesion (Daimler-Benz Rockwell C indent) test
record and report test results
report problems associated with test equipment or test processes clean and maintain test equipment, and work area
perform basic laboratory maintenance including, but not limited to, pourback, stocking lab supply, adhesion panel preparation, clean-up
maintaining compliance in monitoring inspection areas, ensuring they meet health and safety compliance, and check that all manufactured products or parts meet the necessary standards
maintain regular communication with supervisor
